In order to use Medech services, you must accept this Terms and Conditions agreement which governs our relationship with users and others who interact with Medech. By using or accessing Medech, you agree to this Statement. Medech may revise this Statement from time to time, please see Section 6 below for detail.
Your privacy is very important to us. We designed our Privacy Policy to make important disclosures about how we collect and can use your content and information. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy, and to use it to help you make informed decisions.
In order to access Medech, you will be required to create an account. You will create only one personal account and you must verify the email address attached to the account to be valid and will remain valid during the term of this Statement. You will keep your contact information accurate and up-to-date. You must maintain the confidentiality of your password and your account information. You will be solely responsible for all activities and/or actions that occur on your account.
The adding of a credit card under Verifying Option is only used for verification of user identity by Medech. The verification of information is not required in order to book an appointment with a clinic or with a practitioner. However, some clinic or practitioner may require that user verifies their identity with Medech before the user is allowed to book an appointment with that clinic or practitioner.
Use of the Medech services requires Internet access through your computer or mobile device. Medech can not guarantee that the services will be compatible with all devices or will be supported by all mobile carriers. You are responsible for all mobile carrier charges resulting from your use of the Medech services.
The features, information, and materials provided by Medech are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. The compilation of all content included in or made available through any Medech service is the exclusive property of Medech and protected by copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.
Medech may modify this Agreement at any time by posting a revised version at https://medech.ca/pages/public/privacy, notifying you by email, and/or by requiring you to accept the new revised Statement. Your continued use of Medech following notice of the changes to our Statement indicates your acknowledgment of such changes. It is your responsibility to review this Statement to be aware of the most recent Statement.
Medech may suspend or terminate your services and your account immediately if you violate any part of this Statement. You may also delete your account at any time.
Any disputes or claims made against Medech will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify. We each agree to waive any right to a jury trial if a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration and each dispute will be conducted on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated or representative action.
If anyone brings a claim against us related to your actions, content or information on Medech, you will not hold us responsible for and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to such claim. We do not control or direct users' actions on Medech and are not responsible for the content or the information users post on Medech. We are not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user of Medech.
