We also collect information about how you use our services, such as the duration of your appointment or the frequency you visit a clinic or practitioner.
If you use our services for account verification (at the discretion of practitioners and clinics on who requires account verification in order to book an appointment), we collect the information required. This collection may include your credit card number, other card information, and billing, shipping and contact details.
We receive information about you and your activities from third-party partners, such as your interactions with a practitioner or clinic that are using the Medech service.
We may use the above information to, among other things, provide the functionality and improve the quality of our Sites and personalize your experience. We may also use the information to perform internal operations, including, troubleshoot software bugs and operational problems; to conduct data analysis, testing, and research; and to monitor and analyze usage and activity trends.
Your information may be used to send or facilitate communications (i) between you and a practitioner or clinic, such as booking an appointment, or (ii) between you and a contact of yours, such as referrals. We may also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.
We may use the information we have to help verify accounts and activities. This verification may be used to prevent fraud and abuse of our Services, such as violations of our terms or policies.
When you book an appointment through our Sites, the information you provide to us may be shared with the practitioner or clinic that you requested or booked an appointment with. The information provided to the practitioner or clinic would be the same if you booked an appointment using another source such as calling or emailing.
We may change this Statement from time to time. If we make significant changes in the way we treat your personal information, or to this Statement, we will provide you with a notice through the Services or by some other means, such as email. Your continued use of the Services after such notice constitutes your consent to the changes. We encourage you to periodically review the Statement for the latest information on our privacy practices.
